Although the rest of India wants to make it to Goa at least once, people are planning a road trip to Goa and exploring some of the party locations and indulging in what Goa has to offer its visitors. However, an avid traveler is trying to figure out what places to visit near Goa, what to do across the street. Here are some of the places you can visit as a road trip from Goa
- Netravali FallsDrive through breathtaking and scenic locations in the middle of rubber plantations, sugar cane fields and deep into the forest to visit the Netravali waterfalls. It is located in the southeast of Goa, near Budbudyanchi Tali, Gopalnath Temple, etc., where you can explore the Netravali Waterfalls during your visit. If you venture deep into the forest regions, you will find another waterfall called Mainapi Waterfall, which offers a picturesque setting and a peaceful location.
- Cabo de Rama
Cabo de Rama is on the southern tip of Goa and is an ancient fortress built by the Portuguese. Explore the region by bike, where you'll discover some of the hidden trails. The location is clearly visible with a row of coconut palms lining the streets, and it has calm blue water that remains untouched.
