Xbox Collection S appeared within the background of Phil Spencer interviews months in the past

The Xbox Series S, officially revealed recently by Microsoft, hid months ago in interviews with Xbox CEO Phil Spencer.

With its smaller construction compared to the Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S fits more easily in tight spaces. Apparently that includes bookcases in Spencer's house.

Fun fact: Xbox Series S is so small @ XboxP3 had it on his bookshelf on July 1st and no one noticed. ????

Did you see it at SethSchiesel?

The interview, in which the Xbox Series S was first seen, was part of the Gamelab conference where Spencer spoke to journalist Seth Schiesel. The interview was streamed on June 24th, but the video wasn't uploaded to YouTube until July 1st.

The Xbox Series X appeared in another July interview with sisters Justine and Jenna Ezarik, who were also surprised by the Easter egg.

IMPRESSIVE! Me and @jennaezarik interviewed @ XboxP3 at the end of July and he had the new @XBOX Series S tucked away on his bookshelf the whole time !! Definitely not seen !!

Neil Holmes, ID Account Manager for ID @ Xbox Developers, and Agostino Simonetta, Director Global Partnership Management at ID @ Xbox, apparently noticed that the Xbox Series S is behind Spencer, but of course they haven't revealed that yet.

We noticed, right ???? @_ninge_?

The price and release date of the Xbox Series S, Series X.

A report preemptively unveiled the Xbox Series S, the digital-only version of the Xbox Series X, priced at $ 299 and released on November 10th.

Microsoft has since confirmed the Xbox Series S, including the price and release date, followed by the price of $ 499 and the same launch date for the Xbox Series X. Pre-orders for both consoles begin September 22nd.

After Microsoft finally confirmed the price and release date of its next-generation console, gamers are hoping Sony will be releasing the same details for the PlayStation 5 soon.
